One incident in three years and you're ahead. Two and you've doubled the value. Some folks buy Plus for the math, some for the peace of mind. Either reason works.
Luxury Care is a service contract, not insurance. The basic plan covers manufacturing defects, battery degradation under 80% capacity, and component failures (logic board, screen, keyboard, trackpad, storage, ports, speakers, camera) for 36 months from your delivery date. The Plus plan adds accidental damage with a $99 deductible per incident (max one per year), ESET-grade endpoint antivirus for the contract term, and 24/7 remote-repair tech support. The Business plan adds 4-hour replacement SLA, dedicated tech line, and monthly fleet reports. Coverage is provided by LuxuriousComputers Marion; the obligor is the same legal entity that sold you the Mac.
Not covered (any plan): theft, loss, cosmetic wear, software issues unrelated to hardware failure, and damage from unauthorized modifications. Drops, spills, and water damage are NOT covered under the basic plan; if you need accidental-damage protection, choose Plus or Business.
Cancellation: You may cancel within 30 days of purchase for a full refund of the Luxury Care fee. After 30 days, prorated cancellation is available; contact (740) 555-0199 or rick@luxuriouscomputers.com. Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time effective the next billing cycle.
Claim process: Email rick@luxuriouscomputers.com or call (740) 555-0199. We diagnose remotely or by mail-in, complete repairs at our depot (same-day on Plus and Business), and provide a prepaid return label.
